This group's ability to make a song actually seem like it's coming from the point of view of a sentient robot is baffling to say the least. I adore how they bring the emotions of their songs so forward front and center.
I'd say a song that makes me cry every single time is a good one. I feel the sense of loss so keenly with this song that I have trouble listening to it anymore.
They also dipped into making music for games in recent years! IIRC the entire OST for Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is from them. Their music adds such depth to the game's aesthetic that I don't believe it would have been the same game without it. I adore the range of the songs within this OST.
From making sure you feel practically alone and truly feel the tone as you arrive in the first area
To feeling incredibly tense in any and all of the boss fights
I could probably keep going for a few hours about them, their albums, and games they made music for, but I'll stop for now so I can even see what this will look like after posting LMAO
